Despite countless arguments, disagreements, and moments of distance, one word lingers above all: Love. In each brushstroke, I commemorate everything she’s done for me: the meals she’s cooked, the nights she stayed up, and the sacrifices I only now understand. That “love” lives within every dish that she’s prepared, no matter the circumstance. This painting honors the first person who taught me the true meaning of love–the hero I'm proud to call my mother.
