World Storytelling Day | March 20

World Storytelling Day is celebrated during the week following March equinox every year. It celebrates the art of oral storytelling and builds friendships across borders.

World Storytelling Day celebrates the art of oral storytelling from all over the world.

The holiday began in 1991 in Sweden as "All Storytellers Day" and grew to become a "global campfire" of people who listen to and tell as many stories as possible, in as many languages as possible to connect with and learn from each other.
