There was a man who lived from 1879-1955, who completely revived the way we think about science. His name was Albert Einstein. Albert Einstein was a genius who redefined science, but he never was alone. Albert Einstein was born in Germany on March 14, and six weeks later his family moved to Munich. They later moved to Italy and he continued his education at Aurora, Switzerland in 1896 (Nobel Lectures). Einstein received honorary degrees in science, medicines, and philosophy from many European and American universities. In 1903 He married a girl named Mileva Maric and had a child. In 1919 the marriage dissolved and he married another girl named Elsa Lowenthal in the same year. To be a hero, a person must possess three main qualities, they must be persistent, hard working, and to do something incredible. In Einstein's case, he worked through what his parents thought of him and kept working, and he worked long hours to perfect his theory's that we all know about today.

Albert Einstein was a man who never quit. He was a man who worked through very hard times to get where he was. During his life, Germany was in the beginning stages of the Holocaust, but he still kept his head up and worked, even if it meant doing some regretful things. "In order to avoid the Nazi government that was then coming to power in Germany. His timing was good, because shortly after his arrival in the United States, Germany confiscated all his belongings and announced that Jews could no longer teach at universities,"("Albert Einstein"). In fear of what was in Germany, Einstein moved away in order to avoid what was happening in Germany. If he would have stayed in his home, he would not have been able to teach and work. Him moving helped him develop many of his theories we use today. Not even his own country telling him no didn't stop him. And even though his country wasn't enough, his parents also didn't think he would ever go anywhere. His parents didn't even think of him as a mentally stable person when he was a child. "His parents, who ran a company that made and sold electrical equipment, even suspected that he was mentally retarded"("Albert Einstein.") Even his own parents didn't believe in him, but besides that he kept moving forward to pursue his own education. He managed to do many incredible things, even if his parents thought of him being a lesser child. Through all the negative thoughts that his family and his own country, he still managed to work and do what very few other Jews in Germany could have done during WWII.

Along with being persistent, he was also a very hard worker. Einstein also managed to do many things in his life, but only because he had a strong sense of work. "Albert Einstein received honorary doctorate degrees in science, medicine and philosophy from many European and American universities."(Nobel Lectures)" He never stopped working, and learning. His whole life he spent trying to learn new things and try to understand new ideas and concepts. He spent the majority of his life working, he spent a lot of time working on his theory of general relativity. Because of his hard work on general relativity, he was able to get his work shown to everyone, because they knew that he was a smart person that almost always had something good to say about the subject he was working on. "Einstein's new theory was too radical to be immediately accepted, for not only were the mathematics behind it extremely complex, it replaced Newton's theory of gravitation that had been accepted for two centuries."(Einstein Albert") He worked hard to on his theory of general relativity. He worked for a long time on his famous theory and helped the world understand a bit more. He always was working on something, but most of his effort was on general relativity.

The most important thing that makes Einstein a hero is how he contributed to the world. During his life, Einstein spent most of his life teaching in different universities. However, during his spare time he also was contributing to other scientists. "Physicists in the early 1900s were working with electricity, and they needed a new theory to explain the phenomena they were observing. Einstein's theory of relativity explained these phenomena satisfactorily." ("Albert Einstein")Einstein's theory helped other scientists as well because of the problems they were observing. Isaac Newton's 3 laws weren't corresponding to what they saw, but Einstein's theory helped them understand it and explained what was happening. People today still consider Einstein's work very important. They felt that his work did redefine the way people think about the very things we take for granted. "During a single year, 1905, he produced three papers that are among the most important in twentieth-century physics."("Einstein Albert") During his life, he helped us understand the way we think about physics. He helped further understand how light works his different situations. He showed how gravity in space works. Einstein's theories helped other scientists as well because of the problems they were observing. Isaac Newton's 3 laws weren't corresponding to what they saw, but Einstein's theory helped them understand it and explained what was happening. He was able to help everyone in a way that not many other people could.

Einstein was a very important person, and he helped us redefine the way we think about many things in our universe. Einstein was a very smart man, with a rough life, and he wanted to work hard. Einstein worked hard throughout his life. He created so many theories that are still being used today. He helped further our understanding of physics and gravity. He also proved the existence of molecules! But before he did all of this, he had to overcome his own country telling him that Jews can't do anything, and that to his parents that he could do what he wanted. Einstein was a hero to me because he taught me to never quit. He taught me the value of hard work, and that when someone tells you you can't do something, it's you who decides, not them. But mostly, he taught me that anyone can cause change. Throughout his life, Einstein overcame obstacles, and I think that it's time that I do the same, and he encouraged me to do so.
