My definition of a hero is someone who inspires other people to be and do their best and is someone who is there for you and goes out of their way to help you and others and is someone who'll save you when you need saving.

I think it's important to have a hero because sometimes you need someone there for you to look up to and someone who will be there to try and lead you in the right direction and so you can have someone to look up to. I also think that there are some people who don't need a hero simply because they're strong enough to handle things on their own to where they don't need saving or they don't need someone to look up to and to go to when things are rough.

For my hero I picked my History teacher, Miss Eilers. I think she's a hero because she likes to inspire others and her students to be the best they can be and she tries to help her students make good decisions and to go down the right path. She also fits my definition of a hero because she'll also help you when you need it and is just someone who'll be there for you if you need someone to talk to.

I think my hero should be inducted to the hall of fame because to me she's a hero. I think she's a hero and should be inducted to the hall of fame because she makes learning history fun and interesting and always has a new, random fact to share with us. I also think she should be inducted because she loves what she does and it shows. Also, because she loves her students and loves to inspire them to be the best they can be and loves teaching them every day. Another reason is because she takes her students' best interests and grades to heart and if any of them need help or someone to talk to, she's there to help them with anything and to try and make things better the best way she can.

When asked who her hero is, she said it's her grandma because she was always supportive and was there for her and was basically her best friend. She always wanted to be a teacher for as long as she could remember because she always had a passion for history and always loved the fun school supplies and when she was little she always played teacher. Another reason she became a teacher was because her mom is a teacher and her grandma was a teacher and she has three aunts that are teachers and her sister is a teacher. So she grew up in a family of a teachers. She also loves what she does because she loves to inspire her students to be the best they can be and she loves history and loves that she can do what she's most passionate about and it gives her a sense of a accomplishment. She also loves what she does because she loves her students and that they can always make her laugh and smile and she loves sharing new information with them.
