People go through a lot of just because of the color of their skin or their religion. Anne Frank and Dr. Martin Luther King. Both of them went through this. Anne was in the holocaust but she died from sickness. Martin Luther King was shot. People use words to deal with life-altering events.

Anne Frank went through a lot in her life but to solve her problems she wrote in her diary. ''I've only got dismissal and depressing news for you today.''pg.38. She wrote in this diary as if it was a real person. This is one way people solve problems. She wrote because she was in hiding. She eventually got caught and went to a camp. She got sick and died.

On the other hand Dr. Martin Luther King Jr went through life-altering events. But he found a way, a different way, to solve his problems. He used his power of words and made speeches of what he thought and felt. One of his famous speeches is ''I have a dream''. Someone shot him because they didn't agree with him.

Both Anne and Martin thought that all people are equal. They both had big dreams. They influenced many people when they died. She wrote and he made speeches. This is how they solved problems.

Although there are life-altering events everywhere. Both Anne and Martin made a difference in the world. I wouldn't be as brave as them.
