Zinedine Zidane

I'm going to speak about my favorite hero who is an international football player. He was born on June 23th 1972 in Marseille in France. He had four brothers and sisters. His parents are Malika Zidane and Smail Zidane. Zinedine Zidane spent his childhood in Marseille. He lived in an underprivileged neighbourhood. He is married with Veronique Fernandez and together they have four children.

Zinedine Zidane played football in the street and then in local clubs and at 14-year-old, Zidane was discovered by AS Cannes in 1987. Noted for his talent, Zidane was detected by different clubs. In 1992 Zidane played in the Girondins de Bordeaux. It was there he was called "Zizou". He was classified three times the best best players of the years in 1998, 2000 and 2003 by the FIFA and he received the golden ball in 1998. During his career from 1988 to 2006.he played as a attacking midfielder . He won many awards as the best European player during the last five years according to the FIFA, he was mentioned among the 125 bests players in 2004. He was the favorite French player in 2006. He was twice classified the second best French player by French Football and in 2011 the best player of the champions league for the past twenty years. Zinedine Zidane was elected the best player of the decade 2000 by Marca, Sports illustrated and ESPN. In 2006, he was the best player of the world. He was selected 108 times by the french team. Zinedine Zidane scored 2 goals of the head in final in the cup of the world in 1998 against Brazil. He played European Championships in 2000 and in world cup in 2006. The French number 10 player ended up his career after the world cup in 2006 against Italy. Since 2013 he has been the coach assistant the Real Madrid. It's for that, that Zidane is a hero for France.

Zidane is a important person for me because he is a legend in French football. I 've chosen this person because I like football.
