She didn't know that it was AIDS that took her life until 3 years later when Anna figured out that she herself has had HIV since birth. This story takes place in Arusha, Tanzania where stigma centered around HIV/AIDS makes the disease, despite huge medical advances in the field, the largest cause of death in the region. Anna's Story is about awareness and a fight for social change
