Marko Kropyvnytsky was born in Bobrynets Elysavetgrad region, now Kirovograd. He was a famous playwright, actor, director, composer.
His childhood was very difficult. But he always remembered about small town Bobrynets and called it "my mother-nurse".
He liked literature and folk. His favorite author were Taras Shevchenko and Ivan Kotlyarevskiy.
Marko Kropyvnytsky organized performances and a library in Bobrynets. All his life he collected folk.
He founded the first professional theater in Ukraine. Performances were conducted in Ukrainian. He was a wonderful actor.
He began from small and created so many. That's why he is my hero.
