Teemu Selanne is my personal career hero because he is one of the oldest and best and respected in the NHL. I was becoming a major fan of his since I first watched him play. I was about eight years old and I thought he was the best hockey player in the NHL. The reason I like him so much is because he does charity and other events like going to hockey rinks and he sits on the bench and helps coach the kids for a while. That is the reason I chose him as my personal career hero.
Teemu Selanne is a pro hockey player in the NHL. When he was young he played hockey and had personal trainers. The salary of being in the NHL from 2009 to 2010 is about two million dollars. The requirements that you need to be in the NHL is to have years of training and to have a very good amount of stamina. That is why I respect him so much.
Teemu Selanne was in the NHL because he has had years and years of training. When he was young he was always the best on his teams. In college on the Jokerit of the Finnish SM-liiga. He had 38 points in his first 30 games. He has had a lot of success in the past with making it into the NHL. He followed the path of training and working as hard as he can. His training and work paid off because once he made it in the NHL he was name assistant captain of the Anaheim Ducks. That is how he got his start in the NHL.
Teemu Selanne helps with charity events and goes to hockey rinks and skates with kids of all ages. Teemu is also in a lot of charity events with Parros and other players on the Ducks. They do charities for cancer hospitals and special needs. Their work with this charity is one reason the team is so popular. Although Teemu would do that because he wanted to help the people in need. That is why I respect him and the Ducks.
Teemu has inspired me to become the best hockey player I can be. In high school I plan to spend all the time I can practicing and conditioning to get ready for college. In college I plan to play on a college team and still work on conditioning and skating. When I reach my lifetime goal I hope it leads me to the NHL. If I get all of these goals done I will be living my dream by playing in the NHL.
