Yuliy Meitus was born in Elysavetgrad, now Kirovograd. He was a famous composer. His parents had played important role in his formation. His mother was an excellent pianist. His father was a worshiper of Russian romances. When Juliy Meitus studied at gimnasium, he often participated in school concerts. His hobby became the matter of all his life.
He entered to the conservatory in Kharkov. He perfectly known opera literature, musical drama. He thought that Music is an important tool of stage expression.
Juliy Meitus studied and promoted folk song. He wrote many symphonies and operas. He was a National Artist of Ukraine.
He was very determined and persistent. That's why he is my hero.
