Hans Christian Andersen & Dr. Seuss

by Cameron from Mill Valley

A hero is someone who is not forgotten after their death. They put themselves in a dangerous position to help someone else. They might fight for their beliefs and never give up.

Hans Christian Andersen & Dr. Seuss, my heroes, would be categorized for their actions. That is because they were writers and made many stories for almost everyone. In my opinion, their stories are very unique and creative. These two writers are heroes to me because they wrote books. I think that every good writer should be a hero because they write books for other peoples’ enjoyment and it might take years and years to just get one book on to the bookshelves.

Hans Christian Andersen died in 1875 at the age of 70 on August 4 at 11:02 pm. He wrote such books as The Little Mermaid And The Ugly Duckling. Dr. Seuss died at the age of 87 in 1991. He wrote such books as The Cat in The Hat And The Foot Book.

Both of my heroes are alike in a few ways. They both wrote enjoyable stories in the opinion of many people. They were different because Hans Christian Andersen wrote for both children and for adults. They both brought joy to all of their readers.
