Forget about style, worry about results.

Dear fellow readers from across the world I am here to tell you about Bobby Orr who is he and why did I chose him. Bobby Orr is a famous hockey player he played for the Boston Bruins and the Chicago Black Hawks. He has also been playing hockey since he was four. He led the Oshawa Generals to the OHL finals he also won the Roberston cup.

Bobby Orr was born on March 20th, 1945 in Parry Sound Ontario. He plays defence and shoots left.I think this is where Orr started to play for the Oshawa Generals. He played with the Generals with ,19,and 20 year olds he was 14. His pro career started 1966-1978. He played against Lemieux, Gretzky and Bossy. Bobby Orr's hero was Gordie Howe. I really think that Bobby was a really good defenceman. He is my hero. In one game he scored 5 goals. Orr displayed his hockey talents at a very early age. He started skating and playing shimmy at age four.

Orr was an amazing player in his first season. He won the Calder Trophy as the best rookie and also made the NHL's Second All-Star Team. He was second in the league in scoring by defensemen. Bobby hurt his left knee. Bobby had a lot of trouble with his knees and had to quit playing hockey because of his injuries.

My hero's character traits are courage, cooperation, responsibility and perseverance. He shows courage to go onto the ice even with 7 knee surgeries. He has perseverance to never give up. He has responsibility as an assistant captain and he shows cooperation to work together as a team.

My hero influences me with his stick handling and by telling me what obstacles he had to go through. I think he always brought his A game.

In conclusion, I would say that Bobby Orr is a huge influence on me. He shows good character traits. He won 17 trophies and he is my third most favourite hockey player.
