John Browning is a renaissance person. As an American gunmaker that pushed the limits of gun making and technology. He made the world and the U.S more powerful . He was one of the people that pushed the limits of literacy, arts, science, and technology for new hopes.

John Browning was an American gunmaker. John Browning was born in Odgen, Utah on January 23, 1855. His father was a very accomplished gunsmith in which he followed his footsteps. He created his first gun when he was 13 years old out of scrap metal.(Huchinsons Biography Database). This step was a key to his life accomplishments. One of which was the creation of his own company created with his brother, Matthew Browning, originally called J.M Browning & Bro.

Many of Browning gun were breach loading and bolt action. However he also produces many small, large, and and repeating firearms. His first patent was at the age of 24. One of his greatest breakthroughs was a fully automatic rifle that could fire 40,000 rounds without jamming(Hutchinsons Biography Database).

Throughout his life Browning made many fully automatic guns. He created fully automatic pistols and rifles. One of his greatest weapons was a fully automatic. The gun was called the BAR (Browning Automatic Rifle) (History.com). It was a rifle that had a clip that varied from 15 - 35 bullets. It was one of his most accurate and powerful guns. It was used during WWII by the Americans to fight the Germans.

John Browning created many guns and weapons throughout his life. Sadly his career ended on November 26, 1926. His life was ended of heart failure(Britannica Encyclopedia ). However his guns still live on today in the company that he built by pushing the technology of his field. He pushed the limits of technology and science.
