My hero is Steve Jobs, the CEO of Apple computers. Steve Jobs was born in San Francisco, California and was born on February 24, 1955. Steve even co-founded Apple computers. Steve designed the first personal computer called the Apple II, or, the first operational personal computer. He didn’t only work for Apple, he co-founded Pixar Animation Studios.
Pixar created and directed Toy Story, A Bugs Life, Toy Story 2, Finding Nemo, Cars, and Ratatouille. Pixar has won 20 Academy Awards and its films have grossed more than $4 billion at the worldwide box office to date. Pixar merged with the Walt Disney Company in 2006. Steve Jobs now serves on the board of directors.
Steve Jobs wasn’t even with Apple when created and designed the first Apple laptop, the PowerBook. Even though he wasn’t with them, he still took the inspiration of completing and designing the family of MacBooks and other computers. An example of the computers they have created is the iBook, iMac, and the MacBook. Steve Jobs doesn’t do everything by himself, he has a design team, a processor team, a sales team, and a distribution team. The United States alone has 1000+ standalone stores.
Steve and the Apple design team have created a lot more than computers. The iPod has made a huge impact on the developed world. The iPod is created by something Apple calls “Generations”. The iPod first generation was the first iPod ever made (next to the unreleased prototypes), they have created more than 10 versions of the iPod, even a morph of a phone and an iPod.
Steve Jobs is my hero because he is one of the best computer designers in the world today. He has even started a recycling program where the assembling factories use COMPLETELY recycled aluminum to make all of the new products. Most of the products that Apple has created include recycled iPods and MacBooks and aluminum. Steve Jobs and the Apple board of directors are very passionate about the planet.
