My hero inspires me to be an author as my future job. Without my hero, Louis Sachar, I would be failing school right now, instead of being one of the top students in the fifth grade. Louis Sachar saved my hide more times than I can count. He also gave me a great new hobby, without him knowing it. I have read Wayside School, Wayside School is Falling Down, Wayside School Gets a Little Stranger, Holes, and Small Steps. I also own four of the 5 books listed. I am eager to own his other books: The Boy Who Lost his Face, There's a Boy in the Girl's Bathroom, Someday Angeline, Johnny's in the Basement, Dogs Don't Tell Jokes, Sixth Grade Secrets, Stanley Yelnats' Survival Guide to Camp Green Lake, Kidnapped at Birth?, Why Pick on Me?, Is He a Girl?, Alone in His Teacher's House, Class President, A Flying Birthday Cake?, Super Fast Out of Control!, A Magic Crystal?, Sideways Arithmetic from Wayside School, and More Sideways Arithmetic from Wayside School. His two most popular books are Holes and Small Steps. They are both New York Times Bestsellers and they are both two of my favorite books!

My hero inspires me to write stories of my own; even though my story is no match for Louis Sachar's. My hero inspires me to write a story called The Unveiling of Courage. It is, unlike Sachar's, about a story of a girl finding the powerful couage that was asleep inside her from birth. I am also looking forward to writing the sequel to it (when I'm done with the first one ^_^). I also look forward to writng more series. Who knows? Maybe I'll catch up to Sachar in his literary greatness. Why not; I'm on my way!

My hero inspires me to be more generous to kids less fortunate than me. Louis Sachar donated money to programs helping the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Uganda, Africa is also in a panic. There are people in Uganda who are in desperate need of help. 5 year old soldiers are not uncommon in Uganda. Food is a luxury and water is scarce. Cannibalism is a last resort, even in families. And to all who do not want this horrid life to spread to the final peaceful places in the world, please help!

My hero inspires me to read more. Louis Sachar has opened my eyes to all the great books in the world; not excluding his own. All his books are nationwide bestsellers. As much as I like his books, there are other awesome books in the world. The famous books are not necessarily the great ones; but not in Louis Sachar's case. Small Steps was so powerful, I felt so influenced by his writing. I felt a feeling that I could not have felt after reading a mere mediocre book. So I extremely recommend reading his books, because he has a treat for all ages!
