My hero and inspiration is my dad, Dr. Timothy Cottrell. He is really smart. He got a doctorate degree from Princeton. My dad went to college for eight years. He is the fourth best headmaster of schools in the world. My dad is currently the Head of School at Iolani School in Hawaii.

My dad is my hero because he is nice. He is always saying nice things about me to his friends. For example, he tells them that I am a good friend maker. He treats me very well. He makes sure I don't stay up too late because he says if I stay up too long, I will be tired at school. Dad takes our family to dinner where I want to eat.

My dad is determined. My dad goes to a lot of meetings to help him manage the school. He always does his work fast and carefully for the school. He writes weekly letters to keep the parents informed about what's going on at the school. My dad always works until a task is done, even if it takes him all night.

My dad is creative. He always is very creative when he picks where our family will go on a vacation. Dad picks fun places for us to visit and have a great time. He is great at drawing and coloring pictures. My dad sometimes makes art at our house. He puts some of his drawings in my bedroom, Connor's bedroom, and his bedroom.

I really want to be like my dad when I grow up. My dad is smart, creative, nice, and determined. If I grow up to be like him, I will be a great person and business man.
