Dr. Chang saved thousands of people who had heart problems. He decided to be a heart surgeon because his mum died of cancer.
He lived from 1936 – 1991. Before he died he made an artificial heart. It was almost finished when he was killed. During an extortion attempt, he argued with his attackers and they shot him.
He taught me to always do my best, to never give up, to do things for other people and to help people when they need it.
