Neil Armstrong

Neil Armstrong is a great explorer. Since he was a child he dreamed of becoming an astronaut so he could explore and find special rocks. Neil Armstrong was born in August 5th, 1930 in a small town called Wapakoneta in Ohio and retired in 1970. Neil worked at the NASA business. When Neil Armstrong was a member of NASA he did a mission which meant landing on the moon which had never been done. It was 1969 when Neil Armstrong went to the moon.

He is my hero because he inspired me to become an astronaut when I grow up. He also inspires me to be the best student in my class. I want to get good grades so I can be an astronaut like Neil Armstrong.
