Carmelo Anthony

You probably think of Carmelo Anthony as a really good baseketball player. To me he is more than that, he is my hero. In this story I am going to tell you about why he is my hero and I will tell you some interesting facts about him.

Carmelo Anthony now plays forward for the Denver Nuggets. He was born on May 29, 1984. First, he went to a Catholic high school, but he left to attend Oak Hill Academy to play baseketball because he was really good. After high school he went to Syracuse University; an excellent school. Now, just a couple of years out of college, he is playing foward for the Denver Nuggets.

Carmleo Anthony has two brohers, Robert and Wilford, a sister Michelle, and a half sister Daphne. He even has a candy bar named after him. It is called the Melo Bar and is made of carmel and chocolate. Carmelo Anthony is a major contributor to the Family Resource Centers of Colorado. That means that he cares about other issues besides basektball. Carmelo is now living in Colorado, Denver, but his home town is New York, New York.

Carmelo Anthony is getting to be a very famous person. In his first year, he averaged 21 points per game and leads the Denver Nuggets in scoring. I want to be just like him in every way. This is why he is my hero. I hope after reading this you will consider Carmelo Anthony as your hero too.
