Brayden Ottenbreit

A hero is very important in everyone's life. I think it is important to have a hero because you should have someone to look up to.

There was no date of heroic action because Brayden's life was so short and fast. But to me, all of his life,especially the last few months before he died,were really special.

Where all this heroic action took place was between the year of 1998 to the year 2000 at the hospital in Saskatoon where he was treated for his cancer and also just here in Yorkton. He died on February the 11th,2000.

While Brayden was terminally ill, he never made life difficult for his family and friends. He never acted negative but always positive. He was also a wonderful Christian who firmly believed in God and saw and talked to angels from heaven even though he was still so very ill and small. He never gave up and always believed that he would overcome this great illness.

I believe Brayden Ottenbreit is a hero to me because he never gave up and had lots of hope in himself. And also just because he never worried about himself but just about his parents and family. He was also very positive about everything. I think everyone out here should always keep Brayden in their hearts because he was such a great example!!!!!!
