Albert Pujols and Babe Ruth are two of the most famous baseball players, but they are also great role models and heroes to many people. The reason we picked these two players is, because of there performance on the field and the positive influence they have had on children. Although Babe doesn’t have a children’s foundation, Albert and his wife have one called the Pujols Family Foundation. The foundation is for kids with Down syndrome, and families living with a child who has Down syndrome. They started this foundation because the Pujols family has a baby with Down syndrome and they want to help the families in the Dominican Republic too make sure that they have a good life with there kid. These are things that can make a person a hero and a good roll model.
Babe Ruth's and Albert Pujols' hard work on the field is the other reason we like these two baseball legends. Some reasons they are considered legends and our heroes are because of there homeruns, RBI’s, runs earned and slugging percentages. We combined the stats of these things and together they had 1058 home runs, 3253 runs earned, 3340 runs batted. The two players' slugging percentages were 1.164 (Babe) and 1.056 (Albert). These are only some reasons these players are our heroes and why these players are "baseball supreme."
