Madonna was born on August 16th, 1956, in Bay City, Michigan, USA. Her real name is Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone Ritchie. She was the third of six children. She studied dance at university in the United States. She became a very famous singer in 1984, with her album "Like a Virgin." She also dances very well, in my opinion. After that, she acted in films. I watched her film "Evita Peron." She has been married to Guy Ritchie since December 22, 2000; he is a British film director. She also adopted a baby boy from Africa, and has one child with Guy Ritchie. She has written books for children and has a biography. I have not read her biography yet, but I think the book will be very interesting. I like her last album "Confession on a Dance Floor."

For her age (she is 51 years old), she looks very young and good. I think she did not have plastic surgery. She is small, has blonde hair and blue eyes. She is also very skinny.

I must say that I did not like her at first. But now, when she created her album "Confession on a Dance Floor," I started listening to her music, because I like dance music. Then I found out that she is also very famous in America. Many people know her. That is the reason why I like her. I like it that she is so successful.
