Spotlight on:
Mohamed Sidibay

MY HERO recognizes MOHAMED SIDIBAY, who was first honored as a HERO when he was 10 years old by students who understood his passion to get an education. Formerly, a child soldier in Sierra Leone, today Mohamed is a Law student at Fordham focused on Human Rights. He has worked alongside the Dalai Lama and other global leaders as a leading voice for access to quality education for all. Mohamed has been mentored and is now a mentor and outreach ambassador for The MY HERO Project.

Spotlight on:
Americans Who Tell the Truth

Artist Robert Shetterly has been painting portraits of heroes since Sept. 11, 2001. He not only shares his beautiful art work online with MY HERO but presents the Shetterly Art Prize annually to encourage other artists to portray the heroes in our midst working for peace and human rights for all.
