Shaun White is one of the best, if not the greatest snowboarder of the entire world and a huge skateboarder as well. He was born in San Diego, California and began to ride snowboard at the age of 6. He is known for his shock red hair, for which he was named as "The Flying Tomato".

His snowboard career began at age 13, but he had to take a long break because of knee damage. In the year 2001 he celebrated his comeback. White has been a participant in the winter X-Games, where he has won medals every year since 2002. White also earned a gold medal in the halfpipe while representing the United States at the Winter Olympics in 2006. He scored a 46.8 out of 50 on his first run. It had not been beaten by any other boarder, ensuring him the gold before his final run.

Today, he makes his living through sponsorships and by producing and acting in extreme movies like The White Album and The First Descent.

I have choosen Shaun White because his style of life impresses me. I like to ride snowboard in the style he does and his snowboard scores inspired me to ride in his way.
