Bruno Serato

Bruno Serato was born on October 7th in Laon, France . His parents names are Caterina & Delio Serato. Bruno was in his mid 20's when he came to the United States. He had only $200 in his pocket & a big dream to open a restaurtant. He studied culinary arts & is a very talented & succesful chef. I learned about him by doing research and contacting his organization for this school project.

Bruno Serato is very kind. I can tell because he was generous enough to give pasta and other hot meals to kids who, before this only ate potato chips for dinner. All of these kids lived in a motel that was in a very bad neighborhood. There were drug dealers and prostitutes all around. These Kids were homeless with no regular food at all . The organization that that he started had was is called, Caterina's Club. The purpose of this was to feed the homeless kids.

Bruno has his own restaurant. This would be the only restaurant in the world that serves more than 300 free meals to homeless motel kids every night! My research told me that he has served 1/2 million free dinners to this date. The name of this restaurant is Anaheim White House Restaurant, in Anaheim, California. Bruno makes every kid smile when he makes pasta for them.

As a child Bruno's hero was his mother , he made named his charity organization ( Caterina's Club ) after her . His mother always worked hard to feed her own children. Even when Bruno's family did not have a lot of money his mom managed to see that they were well fed. He even got the idea to first start feeding the kids because his mom told him to ! He says that all of good work he does is in honor of his mother.
