9TH ANNUAL MY HERO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL TO TAKE PLACE ON NOV. 23RD @ USC
Los Angeles, CA – 11/5/13 – Since 2005, The MY HERO International Film Festival has been a platform for media artists who want to create positive social change through filmmaking. The festival celebrates young filmmakers and professionals alike, whose stories celebrate heroes from all walks of life.
Some of this year's submissions include films from The Let It Ripple Series, an exploration in cloud filmmaking by Tiffany Shlain and The Moxie Institute; short documentaries from the GE FOCUS FORWARD series, which highlight individuals striving to improve the world through innovative thinking; a trailer for the feature documentary FEMME, produced by Sharon Stone and directed by Emmanuel Itier, which highlights heroic women who are positively transforming global society; and many more submissions from all over the globe.
