Annie Oakley

Her name is Phoebe Ann Mosey. Her nickname is Annie Oakley. She was born on August 13, 1860. She was born in Darke Cuonty, Ohio. She died on November 3, 1926.

Accomplishments:
Annie survived a hard childhood and became a role model to many women and girls. Annie Oakley was the nation's finest markswoman and the first American female superstar.

Success Traits:
Annie Oakley showed courage and persistence. During her life she had faith and a positive attitude. She was also very generous.

Demonstrated By:
She hunted for food to feed her family and to help pay the bills. She fought for women's rights. She gave freely of her time, money and talents to help other women. She donated money to orphanages. She always tried and never gave up. Annie lived by her motto "Aim at a high mark and you'll hit it".
