My hero is named Jose Pascual Antonio Aguilar Barraza, but people just called him by Antonio Aguilar. He was born in Villa Nueva, Zacatecas, Mexico in May 17, 1919. He died on June 19, 2007. Antonio Aguilar was a film actor, singer, producer and screenwriter. Antonio was sincere, always happy, and brave. Antonio Aguilar is in my life because he is one of my favorite singers and I love the way how he sings his songs and what they say. Antonio Aguilar is important to me because he is the most favorite singer in my family. He makes my family happy listening to his songs and pride of him because in his songs that tell the truth.
Antonio Aguilar made 167 movies, and over 150 albums and sold more than 25 millions records. That is a really important accomplishment that he did in his life. He started in Mexico, but he was getting famous so he went to go to US and South America, to sing and act. When Antonio Aguilar got really famous was when he mixed the Rodeos with the concerts so that made him the first "Charro de Mexico". Antonio Aguilar is helping other people because when someone hears his songs they are going to get so happy and they will think of living as much as they can live; especially with this song called "El PUNO DE TIERRA".
Besides his success with music, Antonio Aguilar is a wise person to me. My family thinks he is a Honor of Mexico because of his songs and his movies that are really Mexican culture. Because of this, I think he is a hero. The thing that people will always remember about him is words about life. I met Antonio Aguilar when I was pretty little. I was 6 years old, but when I was growing up I saw him in a lot of his concerts. I remember that Antonio Aguilar gave me chills when I was watching him or when I listen to his songs. The best thing about Antonio Aguilar is that he makes me feel so happy when I am sad, but he also makes me cry when I hear one of his songs. I like Antonio Aguilar because I love his music and his movies. I chose him to be my hero because he is the best singer in my family and he reminds me of my abuelito.
