Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein was intelligent and inspiring, but he is no longer alive. He was born on March 14, 1879, and died April 18, 1995 in Princeton, New Jersey. His birthday was only 1 month away when he'd be turning 77. Albert Einstein grew up in Ulm, Wurttembery, Germany, as a Jew. But then around the 1800's, his family moved to Munich because of his father and uncle founded a company called Elektrotechnische Fabrik J. Einstein and Cie that produced electrical equipment, and provided the 1st lighting for the Oktoberfest. Then when he became older, he moved to New Jersey. He won awards for science. One of his awards was the Nobel Prize for science, and it all started out at his Catholic Elementary School with Albert being included as one of the top students in his class.

First of all, I think Albert Einstein deserves to be everyone's hero because of what he's done. Some things Albert had found out were E=mc3. Albert was very intelligent and a hard worker.. but he was also one of the smartest people in the world. I chose Albert Einstein as my hero because of things he accomplished. Albert Einstein was not only a person who studied science but he was patient and kind. He also wrote a paper and an essay on mathematics and light. During his elementary school years, a man named Max Talmud approached Albert and introduced him to more complicated science and mathematics. Albert became interested and studied his book which he called: "Holy Little Geometry book." Other than that, Albert was known for the science of physics like mass and mathematical equations.

I noticed that Einstein was always very calm and always focused on his work, he took his time and was very slow at getting things done. Some things he had went through and found out all started out in 1906 when Albert was promoted to a Technical Examiner second class. Then in 1908 he became a university professor in the University of Bern. Later in 1910, he wrote a paper on cumulative effects of light scattering by individual molecules in the atmosphere, he also talked about why the sky is blue. In 1911, Einstein became associate professor in the University of Zurich located in Switzerland. Shortly after, Albert accepted a full professorship at the Charles University of Prague. While he was in Prague, Albert published another paper about the effects of gravity and light. Although in 1912, Einstein returned to Switzerland to accept a professorship at his alma mater. There in Switzerland he met a mathematician named Marcel Grossman who had introduced him to Riemannian geometry, in other words it means the study of smooth manifolds.

Not only did Einstein publish papers and find out new things, but he also tried to protect Germany from Hitler. Adolf Hitler was trying to kill all Jews all over the world but mostly in Germany. During that time Albert raised money and tried to help people. Although, it didn't work but at least he tried. But when he graduated, he took 2 years of searching for a teaching post and a job. Actually, a way he found a job was when a former classmate's father helped him get a job in Bern in the Federal Office for Intellectual Property as an assistant examiner. While he was working there a college friend of Albert worked there too, her name was Michele Besso who worked at the patient office. Then, when Albert grew older he got married. His wife's name was Mileva Maric and they got married on January 6, 1903. They had two kids, first was Hans Albert Einstein who was born on May 14, 1904. Secondly was Eduard Einstein, who was born on July 28, 1910. And then they had a daughter.

Even though Einstein didn't invent anything, his former student named Leo Szilard both worked on a Manhattan project together. They built a refrigerator called "The Einstein Refrigerator." The refrigerator they built wasn't like a real one, it was just co-invented. It had no moving parts, it ran on heat and not ice. Other than that, Albert wrote many papers on science, bending light, mathematics, and energy levels for gas. For some of his work he's done, I mentioned his Nobel Award. He won that in year 1921 for outstanding physics. It also refers to his 1905 paper about a photoelectric effect. But Einstein gave the Nobel prize money to Mileva Maric, his first wife. After that, Albert traveled to New York City in the United States for the first time on April 2, 1921. He went there with Elsa Einstein, Zionist leaders, Chaim Wiezman, Menachen Ussishkin, and Ben-Zion Mossinson and arrived in New York City in 1921.

April 17, 1955 was the day when Albert Einstein died. He died because of internal bleeding caused by rupture of an aortic aneurysm, which means pain, bleeding, and the results of death. He was going to do a speech before that but he didn't live long enough to recite it. Although, he died in the Princeton Hospital, New Jersey that next morning at the age of 76. He was actually cremated and his ashes were completely scattered. But Albert was just amazing and it's sad that he died. And I think everyone should follow his footsteps and become just like him.
