Albert Einstein

by Jordan from Yucaipa

It's not that I'm so smart, it's just that I stay with problems longer.

My hero, Albert Einstein, was born March 14th. He is my hero because he was so smart and lots of smart people in the world are still inspired by his works. He shows people what can happen if you work extra hard. He also loved to play the violin and he was very good at it. I think music can calm people down.

When Albert Einstein was eleven years-old he studied physics at a university level. Einstein's mother introduced him to music and he learned to play the violin. He was very good at it. He was an independent thinker and he very much hated the regimentation of the German school system.

When he was sixteen he renounced his citizenship in order to avoid joining the German army. Then he moved to Switzerland. Einstein sought enrollment at the renowned Zurich Polythechnic school, but did not pass because of his lousy French. However, he did not give up on his dreams.

In 1902, he expected a position at the Swiss patient office in reviewing patient applications. As a mathematical theory, Einstein introduced his equation E=mc(squared) which he called the "energy-math equivalence."

Albert Einstein was one of the smartest people in the world and he inspired lots more people with his theories and inventions. Sadly, he died in April 1955. He was 72 years old and died of internal bleeding from the rupture of an aortic aneurism. Even though he brought society many inventions, I'll always remember him for his perseverance.
