Albert Einstein was a brilliant man. He made many discoveries. They have helped people in so many ways. One of the wonderful things that he discovered was special relativity. He also explained the photoelectric effect in terms of light quantization. He made many wonderful discoveries for the advancement of science.

Albert Einstein was born in Ulm, Germany on March 14, 1879. He died on April 18, 1955 due to heart failure. He was a professor at ETH (Eidgenoessische Technische Hochschule [Technical University in Switzerland] from October 1896 to July of 1900. He discovered special relativity in the year 1920. For those who don’t know, this is the moving of particles at close to the speed of light. A surprising bit of information is that Albert Einstein was offered presidency in Israel after World War I. He obviously declined.

Einstein also formulated Maxwell’s equations in presence of a gravitational field correctly. He also explained photoelectric effect in terms of light quantization. This means that he explained that when ultraviolet light fell onto a metal surface, it triggered the emission of electrons. Electrons are tiny charged particles.

Albert Einstein won a Nobel Prize for the above stated theory. This brilliant man also explained mass-energy equivalence. This is the theory that in physics all mass has an equivalent, or equal, mass. He than enunciated the principle of equivalent reference frames.

Albert Einstein is my hero. He was a magnificent scientist. Even more he was a stupendous professor of physics. He made so many contributions to the scientific community, that still affect us to this day. I want to be a great scientist too, one day. It would be very interesting. Einstein was a wonderful person.
