Anne Frank

by Ivette from Farmersville

Out of all the people I chose Anne Frank because she was a brave person, even though there's been rough times in her life. She and her family were taken to the RSHA headquarters, one of them remained alive, that person is Otto Frank.

Anne Frank was only 15 years young. Anne Frank wasn't like other girls, she was a diarist and a writer. She mostly spent her time writing about her life. They were hiding for over 2 years.

Anne Frank and her family struggled to find food. On August 4, 1944 was when the police discovered the secret annex. 4 days later they were taken to Westerbork transit camp. On January 27 Otto was liberated and taken to Odessa and then France before being able to return to Amsterdam in June 1945, it ended on that year.

She and her sister Both died of typhus in March 1945. Anne Frank is one of the important prominent figures of the Holocaust. She is famous for recording the daily life of a Jewish family hiding from the Nazis.

After Anne's diary was published, a few people called it a hoax. In 1963, Nazi hunter and concentration camp survivor Simon Wiesenthal tracked down former SS officer Karl Silberbauer who was a police inspector in Austria. He confessed that he arrested Anne Frank.
