To my mind, a hero is a normal person who is endowed with noble qualities and undergoes difficult situations. A hero is someone who is optimistic, unselfish, strong, brave, intelligent and patient. Anne Frank is all of this things despite her young aged. She was, and she is famous for her diary. In her diary, she told about her experience with her family. She represented the Jewish massacre during the Second World War. She is called "The human face of the Holocaust". Anne Frank was a Jewish student who underwent the Shoah.

At first, Anne Frank was born on June, 16 in 1929 in Francfort-sur-le-Main in Germany. She came from a Jewish family and she had parents who are called Otto and Edith Frank and sister, Margot Frank In 1933, Hitler came to power in Germany. He was a dictator who led an anti-Semite party. Therefore, Anne Frank's family decided to leave Germany because they did not feel secure; that's why they went to Netherlands. Over there, Anne Frank felt good. Indeed, she learnt quickly Dutch and made friends. In 1939, it was the beginning of the War and in 1940, the Netherlands were occupied and, once again, Frank's family were in danger, and it was difficult to escape. Then, the Jews were persecuted again, Margot and Anne left their school and their friends who went to a Jewish high school at Amsterdam. One day, Margot received a order of SS for forced labor. If she didn't answer, her family will be arrested. Otto and Edith Frank decided to hide in a secret annex with their two daughters because this order was a trap During 25 months, they would remain with friend's family. Anne Frank can't go out and she must stay in annex However, she found a way for spend time, she wrote a diary. Inside, she told everything about her life in hiding. After 3 years of hiding, the Gestapo found them and she was arrested with her family and friends. With her sister, they were taken to a concentration camp which was called Bergen-Belsen in Gemany. Sadly, she died with her sister in 1945 However, Otto Frank survived and he published the diary of his daughter, Anne Frank.

In my real life, I'm inspired by Anne Frank. I find her to be patient and mature. Sometimes, my parents force me to go out to get some fresh air, I'm not really happy and rather annoyed. At this moment, i think of Anne Frank when she couldn't go out and she dreamed to see the sky or walk on the street. Despite her hiding, she continued to live her life such as reading books, learning languages like French or doing mathematics. When I think of that, I'm very lucky in my life, I can go to school, learn what I want, liberally. In my opinion, Anne Frank is a real, true hero.
