Anne Hathaway

I believe I've always been a big believer in equality. No one has ever been able to tell me I couldn't do something because I was a girl. Anne Hathaway

A hero donated money to the poor; a hero saved the world by fighting with the evil. Must a hero be brave or strong? Actually heroes don't have to be very strong or very brave and my hero is not as strong as a man because she is a woman. She is Anne Hathaway.

Introduction: Hathaway was born in Brooklyn, New York. Her father, Gerald Thomas Hathaway, is a lawyer, and her mother is a former actress who inspired Hathaway to follow in her footsteps. Hathaway is the middle of three children with her older brother, Michael and younger brother, Thomas. When Hathaway was six years old, her family moved to Millburn, New Jersey. Her acting style has been compared to Judy Garland and Audrey Hepburn. Her idol is Meryl Streep. She was a Roman Catholic before but after she knew her brother was gay when she said "I couldn't support a religion that didn't support my brother."

Famous: What made Hathaway so popular? Anne Hathaway played Fantine in the first U.S. tour of Les Miserables won 2012 Golden Globe Awards. She also played Amelia Brand in Interstellar. Nowadays, "Anne Hathaway celebrated International Women's Day on March 8 by paying tribute to those who have paved the way for women's equality."(popsugar)

Quotations: Anne is an LGBT rights activist and has donated money to organizations that support marriage equality. "There are people who said that I'm being brave for being openly supportive of gay marriage, gay adoption basically of gay rights, but with all due respect, I humbly dissent. I'm not brave; I'm being a decent human being". -Anne Hathaway "I live my life with love. I live my life with compassion. I live my life hoping the best for absolutely everyone, no matter how they feel about me. And when you live that way, it's amazing how beautiful every day can be." -Anne Hathaway

Conclusion: Anne Hathaway is our hero, which will never change. A hero who has inspired us, who has opened people's hearts and has spoken out and campaigned for LGBT rights. Although there are some negative comments about her in the press and online, she still tries hard on her own.
