Angelina Jolie is very selfless which is a reason why she is my hero. She goes out of her way to give help to people in need. She could live a happy life without any issues but instead she chooses to go around the world and help. One example of being is selfless is  "Since 2001, Jolie has been on field missions around the world and met with refugees and internally displaced persons in more than 20 countries" (Angelina Jolie: Charity Work & Causes). This is a great example of being selfless because it shows how much she helps around the world and not just in the US.  She travels to countries dangerous countries risking her life to help somebody else's life. She does this because she sees what's wrong around the world . She doesn't just live her life as an actress but instead puts her life in danger for the sake of humanity. Another reason why she is selfless is because she helps raise awareness of people in need around the world. An example of Angelina Jolie raising awareness is "Jolie also arranged a deal with People Magazine allowing them to print the first picture showing her visibly pregnant in exchange for a $500,000 donation to the charity." (Angelina Jolie: Charity Work & Causes). This shows that she didn't just want to be the only one helping people. She made a deal which would benefit her and the society. This also shows the society that she is a selfless women.  And maybe inspired people to do good and not take things for granted. Angelina Jolie is a really good example of a selfless person for people to learn from. 

Angelina uses her fame and money to help others in need. She is a great example of someone who cares for everyone and not just herself. She has done a lot of charity work around the world. She has donated millions of dollars. An example of her help " She also visited Afghan refugees in Pakistan and donated $1 million to help." This is an act of caring because with that money it could help thousands of people . There are not many donations made like this. This act deserves a lot of appreciation. There aren't many people that would make this kind of donation. Being this caring also takes bravery. Caring for the world is the definition of having humanity. Humanity is exactly what Angelina Jolie spreads around the world. "The Jolie-Pitt Foundation, dedicated to eradicating extreme rural poverty, protecting natural resources and conserving wildlife, donated $1 million to Doctors Without Borders." She doesn't only help people in need but also helps keep areas safe. This was an act looking out for planet earth. This was an act looking out for planet earth. Angelina Jolie is a person that looks out for people all over the world. She sees beyond just having a happy life as a famous actress.

Angelina Jolie is a type of person that goes around the world risking her life for the sake of helping out people in need. She has donated so much money to refugee camps and etc. She has traveled to many dangerous countries risking her life. She has 6 children and they are all adopted. Jolie inspires people by raising awareness of people in need. An example of showing people how brave and caring she is that she adopted so many kids from different countries. Its not easy to take care of 6 kids. This inspires people to make a change in life. There is always something people could do to help. She has raised so much money for refugee camps. She has inspired organizations to raise millions of dollars to help get children education. The acts of Angelina Jolie really inspire me to do great things in my life that will not only help me but the people that need the help the most. That is why I chose Angelina Jolie as my hero. I hope she keeps inspiring People around the world to do great things.
