I think you have already known this beautiful woman. She is an American film actress. Who is she? Yes, you right.. She is Angelina Jolie. Born on June 4, 1975 at Los Angeles, California, with birth name Angelina Jolie Voight. Jolie is the daughter of actor Jon Voight and Marcheline Bertrand, who died in 2007. When she was a child, she often watched movies with her mother, and this made her interested in acting.

She began her career from 14 years old as a fashion model and also appeared in several music videos. At the age 16, she returned to theater and learnt from her father. At 1993, she started her professional career with playing film Cyborg 2. Then following other undistinguished projects, unfortunately the movies failed to make a profit, but developed a cult. She didn’t give up at all. And in 1997, she finally got her goal as a professional actress. Many people appreciated her acting in the biopic George Wallace as Cornelia Wallace. From this film she won a Golden Globe Award. The phenomenal film titled Lara Croft : Tomb Raider made her an international superstar. After that, many chances came to her which brought her to be a success and famous actress. She was nominated for awards in appreciation and almost won them all.

Although she is a superstar, she still has been personally aware of worldwide humanitarian crises during the Tomb Rider film making and joined in UNHCR for knowing information about international trouble spots. She did many things to help the world like visiting refugee camps in several countries like Tanzania, Sierra Leone, Pakistan, Thailand, and many places, also contributed $ 1 million to UNHCR too. Moreover, she adopted her first child, a baby boy from Cambodia, named Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt. Then 4 years later, she adopted again, Zahara Marley Jolie from Ethiopia. In 2007, Zahara’s mother wanted her daughter back, but later she changed her mind and allowed Zahara to be adopted by Jolie. Jolie adopted a baby for the third time, a boy from Vietnam, named Pax Thien Jolie.

I choose Angelina Jolie to be my hero because I’m so proud of her. At the beginning of her career she didn’t get appreciation from society, even though she had tried as hard as she can.

And finally she got success by winning the Golden Globe Awards. She is a talented and an amazing actress. Furthermore, as a famous actress, she doesn’t only live in the lap in luxury, but she also cares about the world by being the member of a social organization. She adopted 3 unlucky children from different places too. I think that’s not all duck soup. I hope one day, I can be like her, not in everything, but a little is enough.
