My hero is Alicia Keys. Her real name is Alicia Augello Cook. (Alicia Keys is just a stage name) She was born January 25, 1981 in the state of New York, New York. Her parents' are: Teresa Augello, and she is a movie star, and her dad Craig, who was an Air pilot. She was only raised by her mom at a young age. Well she lived in New York City, so it was a difficult time. She did go to school, but put college on hold, since she loved music so much.

She is kind, nice, smart, and very talented. She traveled in Africa for a little over a month to raise AIDS awareness. The Organization was "Keep A Child Alive". It's about the AIDS awareness in Africa. It'll provide the towns' residents with HIV testing and treatment. She has helped many people through her songs/music.

She has influenced me to be whatever I want to be in life. For example, if I wanted to be a singer I Would be that or even if I wanted to be an actor I can do that also. Maybe I can just do them both at the same time. When I hear her music, it's like the lyrics are describing the way that I feel.

She likes to act too. She plays in a lot of movies.
