This quote explains that nothing comes for free and you are willing to sacrifice to reach a specific goal in life. He was born on July 30, 1947 in Thal, Austria. His father's name was Gustav Schwarzenegger and his mother's name was Aurelia Jadrny. He had an older brother named Meinhard which died in a car accident with Arnold in the car. Austrian-born bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger came to the United States intending to become a film actor and marrying a member of the Kennedy family. Schwarzenegger now turned his attention full-time to one of his main life goals: becoming a film actor. He was a really hard working guy and a willing person that never gave up and kept on moving forward until he realized he had done what he always wanted, he was also persistent despite the hardships.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is a hero because he is a brave person, "His many accomplishments have earned him the praise of numerous organizations, including the Simon Wiesenthal Center's "National Leadership Award" for his support of the organization's Holocaust studies."(Contemporary Authors) He is awarded leaderships because he was willing to work for it and help supporting an organization that would educate people for a better future. Another example of Arnold being brave is that he is not afraid to fail. He is willing to do anything even if there is a high risk of failure.

Arnold is an independent person which made him a unique person, "When Arnold was a young boy, before he came to America he had to take care of himself because he came from a broken family."(Newsmakers, Detroit). Arnold basically built his own career alone but still had some help from others. As a side note he became very wealthy within 9 years after he came to America with nothing, so it only took him 9 years to go from nothing to everything. He became a very well known actor because he followed his dreams to become one, he worked hard to achieve such results. In this quote Arnold explains how he managed to move on in life by saying, "For me life is continuously being hungry. The meaning of life is not simply to exist, to survive, but to move ahead, to go up, to achieve, to conquer." (Arnold).

Because of Arnold's unwillingness to fail and his ability to move on, he changed his life from having nothing to a successful accomplished man that found his path by working day and night. He took many hard routes and decisions in his life that was hard for a young boy without any guide from his broken family. The main reason why I look up to him is he started with nothing and now has everything and he basically made his career all by himself. He inspires me and other people to do thing that you normally wouldn't want to do.
