Alexandra Scott was born in January 18, 1996. She was in second grade. She had 4 brothers, a dog, and a kitten called Herbert. Alex was diagnosed with childhood cancer when she was 2. Even though Alex was sick, she wanted to help others.

Alex had a lemonade stand to raise money to help find the cure for cancer. She sold lemonade one cup at a time. Alex raised over 1 million dollars for cancer. Soon, lemonade stands popped up every where across the country. Everyone wanted to help her to find the cure for the illness.

Alex was a very nice and giving young girl, and a true hero. She thought about people before herself. Sadly, she died of cancer before they found the cure for her. The money she raised did help other sick children get better. She never gave up trying to help others, even when she was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 2.
