My hero is Anne Sullivan. She is my hero because she helped someone who could not help herself. She was Helen Keller’s teacher. Helen Keller was a blind and deaf girl. Anne helped her even though her vision was not good. Anne Sullivan said, “A strenuous effort must be made to train young people to think for themselves and take independent charge of their lives.” She was a teacher, a hero, and good person. Helen, her student, said "The most important day I remember in all my life is the one on which my teacher, Anne Mansfield Sullivan, came to me."
