"The shy lady looked nervous, she couldn't talk to me. But I understood that she is a real actress"- that was the Tony Marshall's first recollection. Tony was the French director of the film "Venus Beauty Salon". This shy lady wanted to be an actress in this film in 1998. This lady was called Audrey Tautou. "I was only 20 and I was a coward. I played only 5 small roles and when I saw professional actors I thought that they are aliens from another planet, that's why they were so beautiful and proud.

Audrey Tautou was born in August 1976 in France, she was studying in Sorbonne on the faculty of French language, she thought that she will study monkey's behaviours, but she wanted to be an actress. She was working in a small company but she was very proud of it. Audrey acted in TV-shows, in evenings she was learning about acting and acted in cinema competitions "Cours Florent". And all that she was doing only made her be more brave. She wanted to be a girl with no hang-ups: she thought that all French girls are more beautiful and more clever, than she.

The day after casting some women called Audrey and said that the role was for her...She couldn't believe it. Audrey Tautou was unknown, but she won the "Cesar Award" and after year, in 2001, everywhere were posters with her photos from new film "Le Fabuleux Destin D'Amelie Paulain". Everywhere: in Europa, Japan, Korea, everyone knew Amelie, knew Audrey. America gave to Audrey Tautou "Oscar"!

But she didn't stop. In 2002 she acted in the thriller "Loves me, loves me not". After some time some agent offered to Audrey acting in two films, but she didn't say "yes" because she thought that they are not serious, so not for her. And after a couple of times she acted in two other films, but she wanted to act in serious films, to show for everybody, that she isn't a small silly girl.

I really enjoy Audrey Tautou like a woman with special fashion, like actress and like a person with dreams, ideas and thoughts. I think, that film "Amelie" is the most popular film of hers, I quite like it!

I think, that she is very single-minded and it is the most important quality for actor. I like her, because she has her own style, her own opinions. I really enjoy her.
