  "At age fifteen, he committed himself to bodybuilding. He was soon winning competitions throughout Europe, and by age twenty he won his first Mr. Universe title "("Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger."). Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger became interested in body-building, thus his parents were worried about his obsession, so they allowed him to visit the gym 3 times a week. But he didn't so he made a gym at his own house. Soon he won competitions throughout Europe. Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger is a hero to athletes. He was born July 30, 1947, in Graz Austria ("Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger"). After the 9/11 attacks, Arnold Schwarzenegger donated 1 million dollars to the twin tower fund. ("Arnold Schwarzenegger"). He won his first Mr. Universe title at the age of 20. ("Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger"). In 2003, he became the governor of California and got re-elected in 2006 for a second term. He first was an athlete because he was a body-builder. He also was multi-talented because he was a businessman then he became a famous and acknowledged movie star. Later on his lifetime he became a politician. He became more and more interested in politics. Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger is multi-talented, athletic, and an influential politician; therefore, he is a hero.

 Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger is a hero because he is multi-talented. Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger was famous for a lot of thing that he did during his life time like, "Following careers in body building, business and entertainment"(National Governors' Association). He had many talents which is why he is multi-talented.  An example is he was a body builder and an entertainer. He was committed to his ideas and he was able to accomplish them. He also was popular around the world; he used that to his advantage so he could start a business in the following things: "He used his initial popularity as a sportsman to start businesses including real estate, gyms, and diet products. The next phase in his rising business career included film stardom."("Arnold Schwarzenegger."). He started as a sportsman then moved on to become businesses like opening gyms. He was an icon figure of American. He was representing America. He had a lot of talent in stuff like being a body builder and a politician.

The reason that Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger is many people's inspiration including me is because he was an athlete. He was such a great athlete that, "He was named Special Olympics International Weight Training Coach in 1979."(National Governors' Association.). He was athletic because he was named the Special Olympics International Weight Training Coach (National Governors' Association).  People knew he was such a great athlete that they wanted him to compete in body-building competitions. He had many fans around the world because of his body.  "Schwarzenegger--Arnie, as he is known to his fans--has used his spectacular body as a passport to fame, gaining celebrity in bodybuilding contests. Arnie won in 1968 (the first of five times) the title of Mr. Universe, the world's top bodybuilding distinction."("Arnold Schwarzenegger.") His nickname was Arnie to his fans. Winning Mr. Universe is a great accomplishment. He was an icon for all the athletes in the world because he achieved The Mr. Universe, Mr. World and, Mr. Olympia ("Arnold Schwarzenegger."). He was in a lot of movies including his famous movie, "Terminator", which most of the people in the world have seen.

He became interested in politics. Later on in his life, he became more and more interested in political activities. "An increasingly politically active Republican during the 1990s." (National Governors' Association.)  He became more political during the 1990s (National Governors' Association.) Then he ran for governor of California 2003. His life was an inspiration to all athletic people and people who are interested in politics. He ran for governor of California. "Indeed, Schwarzenegger's self-confidence was such that he affirmed long-time speculation that he had political designs by announcing his candidacy for governor of California in August of 2003. The special election was an effort to recall then-Governor Gray Davis, and Schwarzenegger prevailed. "He was sworn in as the state's 38th governor on November 17, 2003." ("Arnold Schwarzenegger."). He announced his candidacy for governor of California in August 2003. He became California State's 38^th governor on November 17, 2003. He became the governor of California, and he got re-elected in 2006 for a second term.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is an All American Icon. He is a hero because he inspired people that if they stick to an idea and never give up, they can achieve their dream. He inspires others by doing what he loves to do. First he started as a body-builder, than he became a movie star and then the 38^th governor of California. He inspires me to persevere until I reach my goal in life. He was a great governor, he has inspired, and in 2004 he was named 1 out of 100 people who change the world. A lot of people in the world know Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger for the fantastic things that he has done. That is why Arnold Schwarzenegger is an all American Icon.
