I first became aware of my personal career hero when I first learned about Andre Agassi. I watched the tennis channel and I saw a biography about Andre Agassi and all of the wonderful things he did for the world. He influenced many people to be great tennis players and he also built institutions for children who cannot receive a good education. He built colleges, high schools, and even elementary schools. He has influenced me to try and become a great tennis player I can be. He never gave up when the odds were against him and he is considered a legend in the tennis world. This is why Andre Agassi is my hero.

My Personal career hero is a famous tennis player. Andre Agassi was the number 1 tennis player in the world. He retired in 2006. In his career, he made 31,152,975 dollars. You do not need a specific education in being a famous tennis player but you do need physical fitness. For training requirements, a tennis player must undergo hours of physical training every single day. He/she must have great stamina, and must be able to hit a ball consistently as well as powerfully. They must be able to keep count of their own score and they must be tough mentally as well as physically. If the player’s mind breaks down, they will surely lose the tennis match. This is what is needed in order to be a tennis player.

Andre Agassi went to Dominguez Hills for his high school years. In his high school, he joined the tennis team and ended up being in varsity. From there, he tried out for professional tennis. Andre Agassi was a prodigy. He could hold a tennis racket at the age of two with tape wrapped around the racket and his hand. He started to hit balls when he was just 5 years old. When he became pro, he immediately became successful. He won the US Open unseeded. This is how Andre Agassi became a great professional tennis player.

My Personal Career Hero does help others and contributes to society through the involvements and opportunities of his career. He used the money he won from tournaments to build an institution for children who cannot afford a good education. He has been an inspiration to everyone because of his kindness, generosity, and his fighting spirit. He never gave up when the odds were against him and also, he inspires the students at the preparatory academy in Las Vegas.

In order to live a life like my personal career hero, I have to first be on the tennis team in high school. First Junior Varsity, then I have to make the varsity team by sophomore year. By the time I am in my senior year, my goal is to be captain of the team and later when I go to college, join USC’s tennis team. Their tennis team is in the top three in the nation for tennis so it will be extremely hard to get into. After four years in college, I will become professional and try to reach the top 10 like Andre Agassi. First I will play in Challenger tournaments. Then in regular tournaments like the BNP Paribas. Then I would try out for the 4 Grand Slams. If I am good enough, I should be able to win at least one. These are my goals for high school, college, and my lifetime.
