Adrian Peterson

Adrian Peterson is an all star running back in the NFL. He is a hero to many people because he is so good on the field, but he is my hero because he overcame many sad situations in his life to reach the top. When Adrian was 7, his best friend and brother was killed by a drunk driver. He dealt with his pain through sport. He dominated the competition when he played, sometimes going through whole games without being tackled and people were already asking for his autograph, even the opposing teams. Around the time he was 13, his father was locked up for dealing. Despite the setback of his biggest fan and team coach, Adrian kept playing to ease his pain. He dominated high school football, college, and later on, made it to the NFL and will be remembered as one of the greats.
