Albert Pujols

Hero? By definition, a person that is admired for his achievements. In my opinion, a hero is someone you idolize, someone that changes your life and makes you strive to follow his example. My personal hero is Albert Pujols. Albert Pujols is a man of great faith, a devoted husband and father, and an outstanding baseball player. This is why he is my hero and a hero to many others as well. I love how he plays ball. For those of you who do not know Albert Pujols, he is a baseball player for the St. Louis Cardinals. He was born on January 16, 1980 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He had a happy childhood, even though he grew up in poverty. In the early 1990s, when he was 16, he moved to the United States. Here, he played high school ball and drew the attention of many. This year he hurt his left arm and was out for about 3-4 weeks. He returned and hit a grand slam out of the Dodgers' Stadium.
