Everybody has someone that he or she adores most. Maybe it's an artist, politician, white knight with the white horse, etc. Now, here is my hero, I admire him so much.

His name is Arsene Wenger. He's an Arsenal FC manager from 28 September 1996 until now. He was born on 22nd, October 1949 in Strasbourg, France. His parents' names are Alphonse Wenger and Louise Wenger. He is a genius. That's how he got the name, "The Professor" from Man. Utd manager, Alex Ferguson. Everybody said he was destined for Arsenal because his name "Arsene" is such a good fit with "Arsenal". But when he first time came to England and got the position as Arsenal's manager, everybody underestimated him with quotes like "Arsene, who?" because no one heard his name before. He is very calm and incredibly bright, he almost never blames his squad when they play poorly. He said, his temper is his biggest fear, so he always tries to control himself.

As I mentioned before, a lot of media in England underestimated him on his first day. Especially when he signed Patrick Vieira. When Wenger hadn't yet come to Highbury, he wanted Arsenal to sign him. But when Arsenal battled Sheffield Wednesday in Highbury on 16 September 1996, at that time, Vieira made a sensational debut and Arsenal won 4-1. A lot of Arsenal's fans in Highbury chanted his name and Vieira was very happy at that time. Pat Rice, Arsenal's manager at the time, was surprised with Vieira's performance. Wenger has brought a lot of trophies to Highbury. In 1996-1997, Arsenal got third place on EPL (English Premier League), but the next season, 1997-1998, Arsenal were Double Winners, bringing home the FA Cup and EPL. Ex-Arsenal captain, Tony "Mr. Arsenal" Adams lifted the trophy with happiness at that time. The rivalry between Arsenal and Man. Utd has become hotter and hotter. I remember on 24, October 2004 in Old Trafford, all of the players from both teams brawled. In that riot, Alex Ferguson got a pizza in the face. Nobody knows who threw the pizza and that battle has been called "battle of buffet". Arsenal became Double Winners a second time during the 2001-2002 season. At that time, Arsenal won the EPL in front of Man. Utd's fans in Old Trafford after defeated Man. Utd 1-0. Under Wenger's watch, Arsenal has won 3 EPL trophies and 4 FA Cup trophies. Not only that, but with Wenger's guidance, Arsenal broke a record "49 Unbeaten" and won the EPL trophy in the 2003-2004 season. Arsenal played all the matches without a loss. Now that's all about Wenger and Arsenal. I admire Arsene Wenger because he is a genius in handling Arsenal and makes Arsenal one of the elite clubs in Europe. Arsenal's performance has become a thing of beauty since Wenger first sat in the Arsenal manager's chair.
