Adone

My hero is my mother, Adone. If it wasn't for my mom, I wouldn't have a roof over my head, food to eat or a loving mother and family. The main reason why my mom is my hero is because she has raised me by herself. My mom was a 28 year old single mom raising a baby by herself. My mom has always provided me with whatever I've needed and made sure I was happy. Everything my mom does or did was for me and to see me succeed in life. For that I am forever grateful to her. I believe that all single moms are some of the strongest women out there.

Being a single mom is tough. It takes a strong woman (even a man) to raise a child by themselves. My mom had help, but did mainly everything independently. There was no assistance from anyone, because she had faith, she could do it by herself and she did.

I am the woman and person I am today because of my mom. She has made me strong because she is so strong. My will power to succeed and try my best is because of my mom. She taught me to always be true to and respect myself, which I always have. I thank God everyday for my mom. I may not say it or tell her, but she is my hero in more ways than one.
