A hero to me would be someone who does something well. They would be kind to others. They also don’t give up. They go all the way until their dreams come true. The biggest thing they do is to inspire people to do good things and Troy Aikman is one of those people who does all these things.
Troy Aikman was born on November 21, 1966, in West Covina, California. Troy played a lot of football. He went to the University of Oklahoma and then he transferred to UCLA. Troy sat out one year to gain back eligibility. In his rookie year, he helped lead the Cowboys 16-4. He helped win three Super Bowl championships.
One of Troy’s life goals was to make it in football. He also liked helping sick and disabled children. He helps kids with cancer, kids with no home, and kids with no food. Troy Aikman loves making people happy.
Some more things about Troy are, his full name is Troy Kenneth Aikman. He grew up in Cerritos, California, and then Henryetta, Oklahoma. He is married to Rhonda Worthy his step daughter is Rachel Worthy. He has two other daughters whose names are Jordan Ashley Aikman and Alexa Marie Aikman. His parents's names are Charlyn Aikman and Kenneth Aikman. His sisters are Terri and Tammy. His high school was Henryetta.
Troy had some struggles in life too. One of them was that he had back problems. He got cut from the Cowboys because they didn’t want to pay him seven million dollars and so now he is an NFL broadcaster. I think he decided to do broadcasting because he got to watch football.
Some other football players have traits of a hero too. Some of those traits would be kind, caring, and helpful. Troy has all of those things and that is why he is my hero. Also he is a kind to everyone and cares about everyone.
