Alejandro

My grandfather is called Alejandro, but my brothers and I call him Tata. I chose him as my personal hero, because I admire him very much for all the good things I see he does every day. Without him, my life, and a lot of other people’s lives, wouldn’t be the same.

Tata does a lot of things for my family. He always prepares Christmas celebration in his house so all my family gets together, and he is always worrying about all of us. He takes care of my two great grandmothers, and allows my brothers and I stay with him and my grandmother in his house in Punta Del Este and in Buenos Aires.

My grandfather does a lot of things for humanity also. He gives money to churches and hospitals, being very kind with everyone. He always has a good disposition to give a helping hand. The most generous thing he does is that he goes once a week to a place where there are a lot of leprous people, and he helps them. My grandfather is always changing my life, not only for doing things for me, but also for giving me the best of the examples.

For all his merits, Tata has been named an elder in a church, in 2007. I think Tata can be related to a lot of heroes, since he is very protective as for example Mandela who always wants to help or Helen Keller who was a very intelligent person in spite of her disability.

All in all, I believe that my grandfather is a very important person in my life. A lot of hopes and lives have changed because of him, and this is why I admire him so much.
