Alejandro

by Nicolas from Buenos Aires

Alejandro is the hero I chose. He is a great fighter. He is always with job problems but he leaves them aside for us (my sister and me). Alejandro is my father, and sometimes he gets out of his mind but in general he is always happy with a smile on his face.

My hero, my father, changed my life. He is with me when I need him, I can’t explain how he changed my life, but when Alejandro is with me I feel very special. We play football and we have lots of fun together. I don’t know what I could do without him. Now my father is living with me and with my family in a house in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is very important to me because he feeds us and protects us from everything that could happen. Once when I was a child I thought that there was a ghost in my cupboard so when I told my father about the ghost, he came with a broom and made the ghost go away. (I think there wasn’t such a ghost). Another anecdote is that when I was small we had a microphone with an alarm that rang in the same way as the alarm of my house, so we thought the alarm of the house was ringing. This happened four or five times and we thought that thieves had broken into my house so my father went to the door with a stick to see if there was someone. At last, we gave up and we saw that it was the alarm from the microwave. It was very funny!!!.

My father, Alejandro can be compared to Rosa Parks. Rosa Parks fought for the rights of black people and my father is constantly fighting for my family and for our rights. I am very proud of him.

To conclude, I believe my father is an important person. He is still alive, he is 47 years old. I am very sure that my father is going to be my hero for all my life. I know that he will always be there with his smile to make me happy again. I love him.
